Project Team of the Competence Center in Koprivnica-Križevci County held a meeting on the implementation of new activities

Meeting of the Project Team on the implementation of new activities of the project "Competence Center in Koprivnica-Križevci County" was held on Thursday, January 9, at PORA Regional Development Agency Koprivnica-Križevci County. This  meeting followed the formal signing of the agreement at the Ministry of Regional Development and European Union Funds about ten days ago. This agreement approves the project of the County Center of Competence for a HRK 30 million grant.

At the meeting in PORA, which was attended by members of the project team and Deputy Prefect Ratimir Ljubić, Head of PORA Melita Birčić, the Principal of Trade School Koprivnica Zlatko Martić and  the Principal of Vocational School Đurđevac Darko Špoljar, participants discussed further activities in the project implementation and tasks of project team members.  After the discussion, positions were agreed on the dynamics of implementation and preparation of the initial conference with  emphasis on the development of elements of visibility and the promotion of this important project.

Let us remind you that the project "Competence Center in Koprivnica-Križevci County" will reconstruct, upgrade and equip the building of the Trade School Koprivnica and the building of the partner institution of the Vocational School Đurđevac. The total value of the project is HRK 30,021,538, and it should be noted that out of the total amount, only HRK 21,538 will be co-financed by the beneficiaries, ie Trade School Koprivnica, which is also the project applicant together with Koprivnica-Križevci County project partners and Đurđevac Vocational School with the expert assistance of the Regional Development Agency PORA Koprivnica-Križevci County.

The County Competence Center will strengthen the relevance of vocational education by improving conditions in the electrical engineering and computing sector of vocational education in order to achieve greater employability of students. Furthermore, the infrastructure of the regional center of competence in vocational education will be enhanced in accordance with labor market needs at the regional level at the same time intensifying cooperation with similar institutions throuhout the EU.
