VOCATIONAL SCHOOL ĐURĐEVAC
Modern high school education in Đurđevac began in 1964 with the founding of the Gymnasium. In 1971, additional education was introduced for trades in mechanical engineering, wood processing and electrical engineering, for the professions of car mechanic, carpenter and electronics.
By the decision of the Municipal Assembly of Đurđevac, in 1993 the Vocational School Đurđevac and the Gymnasium Dr. Ivana Kranjčeva Đurđevac were founded, and since then each school works as an independent institution in the same building.
At the Vocational School in Đurđevac, 514 students in 16 occupations are currently being educated through 30 classrooms.
Đurđevac Vocational School currently employs 87 staff, of which 70 are teachers. With its human resources, the Đurđevac Vocational School is able to respond to the challenges of modern education and the reforms that are already being implemented.
Proof of this can be found in numerous projects and activities that the school carries out outside the regular education programs, and again with the aim of improving the knowledge and skills of students in the occupations for which they are studying.
